PAYE vs Umbrella The Facts

After seeing the increasing number of umbrella companies encountering issues which impact members getting paid, hopefully you will all know that Altrix recently launched its own PAYE payroll service enabling us to employ and pay members directly.  We want you to be able to focus on patient care and not worry their earnings may come under scrutiny from HMRC.  

Umbrella companies are unregulated so, if you are working through an umbrella company we recommend you read the most recent guidance provided by the UK Government HERE. 

Moving to PAYE is simple and can be done on the app.  If you decide to be employed by Altrix, we will be responsible for paying you directly net of tax, national insurance and any other statutory deductions. You won’t need to deal with anyone else regarding your shifts or pay and with weekly payslips you know exactly where you are and have the peace of mind that everything has been carried out correctly. This means less hassle and a lot less stress knowing that everything is taken care of for you.

To move to PAYE with Altrix – in the Altrix app, go to the Payroll Setup tab in the Profile section and select the PAYE option.
