Hopefully most of you will already know about our Shift Secure Scheme, but in case you have missed some of our communications, here is a quick reminder of what it can do for you.
If you are unable to secure the volume of shifts you want with us, then you should sign up to our new service if you haven’t already.
Our service will help you to secure the shifts you want in advance as soon as they become available.
We are aware that shift lead times have become shorter, and some shifts are unfortunately being cancelled due to demand being snapped up very quickly. To alleviate this, we want to match you with the shifts you want automatically, as soon as they are available from your trust.
We are aiming to optimise the bookings we make for you based on the availability and information you provide. This will enable us to book shifts on your behalf, so you don’t miss out.
If you would like to use this new service, to help you secure the shifts you want, we will need you to supply your availability via your advisor, email or WhatsApp, ideally for the next 7 days and then weekly ongoing, letting us know of your preferences and any exceptions within the trust that you don’t work. It is important that the information you provide is accurate to let us match you with the correct shifts.
If we were able to speak with you, when we find a match, we will send a notification to you via your app confirming the booking. If we are unable to reach you at the time we are making the booking, we will send a reservation notification informing you that we have reserved the shift based on your availability. If you are unable to take the shift it is imperative that you advise us as soon as possible by declining the reservation on your app so we can reallocate it to another member and so we don’t let the trust down.
