Please note if your work involves direct patient contact or handling clinical specimens you may be at risk of acquiring or transmitting particular infections. Your immunisations, vaccinations and comprehensive health screening must be updated on an annual basis to ensure you protect yourself, your patients and family and friends.
Please note that Altrix may need to provide evidence of flu vaccinations to our clients to book you into work in some shifts. Please keep your vaccination records updated on your Altrix profile.
You can get your flu vaccination via your GP, through the hospital you are working in or through a pharmacy
If you believe that you have been exposed to anything that may compromise your ability to work within a healthcare setting please contact the Altrix team.
And if you spend three months or more outside of the UK, you will need your health assessments updated prior to being able to work for Altrix again.
