Here are a few necessary reminders you need to adhere to when booking and attending shifts with us to avoid confusion and disappointment.
- You should not be attending a shift if you do not have a valid shift reference on your Altrix app. Please note that without a booked shift and valid reference your shift is not confirmed on the trust system and there is therefore a high risk you could be turned away on arrival.
- Please make sure the shift you have booked is appearing on your app. If the shift is not appearing on your app, please contact a member of our team and we will work to confirm this booking with the Trust. If you do work without a booking on your App and have a signed timesheet, we will not be able to process your timesheet and unfortunately you will not be paid until there is confirmation from the trust that your shift is booked on their workforce management system.
- If an occasion arises where a member of staff at the trust you are working in, requested you to work a shift directly, it is imperative you let Altrix know immediately and prior to the shift start time. This is so Altrix can confirm this shift with the trust and ensure that the shift is booked correctly, so you have a valid shift reference before your shift begins and will be paid on time for the shift you have worked.
Nobody likes the stress of being turned away or having to wait for late authorisation for a shift you have already worked. That’s why it’s important that these processes are followed to show you are adhering to the correct bookings policy with Altrix and the trust. This is essential for staff and patient safety, so we know where you are, and to be paid correctly and on time for the shift you have worked.
